Original:
So... my 200th post is finally here! So... I have decided that I am going to have a small giveaway, and then when I hit my one year Blogoversary, then I will have another giveaway.
More on that in a minute...

My week has been crazy! Of course, Monday, you learned all about all the things that I did not do last week, but this week, we have been so busy, I feel like I haven't stopped running all week! Seriously... where has this time gone?

Monday I, Went to the gym(yeah me!), had to go to the Dr., and took my mom to therapy. Of course, after that came home, made dinner and just crashed at 9.

Tuesday, I had another busy, but fun, day. That morning I worked on that laundry that had been piling up in my hallway for nearly 2 weeks, and now, you can actually see the carpet in my hallway. After a busy morning of laundry, I took Grace to my mom's house to stay for the afternoon because that evening we took Doug's and my niece's Tori and Jennifer to Dinner at Red Robin's for their birthday's this month, and then afterwards, we went to see the movie Bolt. I was not sure how much I would like this, but seriously, I laughed out loud! It was soooo good!!!!

Anyway... in between dropping Grace off and going out for the evening, I had to go to the Chiropractor and then had to run a few errands. Again... I felt like I was not stopping!
Thankfully, today has been a much less busy of a day, and I am finally taking the time to write this post. I spent most of the morning continuing to work on my laundry from yesterday, and chasing this little 18 month old girl around my house. I tell ya what... she can wear a person out!
I just have to share a few things that my girl is doing now.

Tuesday morning, I was laying in bed, just trying to get a few extra minutes of sleep, and I heard Grace in her bed, talking to herself and playing like she always does. I thought nothing of this. That is when it happened.... THUMP! Followed by a cry that can only make a mother slightly sick to her stomach, fearing that her child might actually be hurt from said jump. Thankfully... when I got to her room, she was standing up, just crying a normal "I am ok, I am just whining" cry. Thank goodness!

Fast forward to later on that morning. I was trying to get some laundry done, so I was going back and forth from the bedrooms, to the living room, to the utility room which is right off of our kitchen. I was not out of the room for more than a few minutes at a time, and Grace was in her playpen, which I was sure, because of the slick netting sides, she would not be able to climb out of. Needless to say, I was on my way back in from the bedroom, and on this particular trip, as usual, I peeked into the family room to see if Grace was ok in her playpen. Well... to my shock and dismay, my little Houdini (this is her new nickname) was free from her "cage" and walking around the family room, holding the channel changer. Seriously... ! How? I have no idea.

So, a little later, around 12, I decided that it was time for Grace to take her normal nap. I was nervous to say the least, praying that she would lay down and not jump from her bed again. Thankfully, she decided to go ahead and take a nap. Well... while I was on the phone with my mom I heard her cry, but thought that maybe she would go back to sleep because she had only been asleep for about an hour. But no, seconds later... THUMP.... waaaaaa!!!! Again... throw the phone on the floor and run into the bedroom, to find my daughter, once again standing at the door crying! OK... Needless to say... we have had to figure out a strategy. After several suggestions including handcuffs and shackles(thank you aunt Sue) and barb wire(thanks dad!), this is what we have come up with, for now:

So, you would think that is all that has done in the last two days that would fluster and amaze this mama, but no... there is more. She must have know that my 200th post was coming up because it is like she is celebrating or something. Anyway...

So, on to Wednesday, when I was talking on the kitchen phone to my mom while Grace was watching Shrek the Third in the family room. I literally was just feet away. So, I would look in to make sure she wasn't into any mischief. Well... it got extremely quiet this one time, like she had turned the tv off or something, so I told mom to hold on and I came into the family room. What I found shocked and amazed me. My precious little 18 month old daughter was no longer watching Shreck... she was now watching High School Musical 2, and not only that, but the Shrek DVD was now in the case for HSM2. How did she do that? Well... I guess I have changed DVD's so much for her the last few weeks that she has just figured it out, but still! I can't believe that she did that! When I told Doug that tonight I was teasing and said... Doug, you barely know how to change a DVD, and he replied... I know! LOL!

So... enough about me... I guess I should get onto the giveaway, as not to torture you any longer. Here it is:

I have decided to compile a few of my favorite things to give away. First...

One of my very favorite stores in the entire world is Target. I mean, seriously, I could go to Target and walk around for an hour and come out with nothing, and still feel good. I just love to look around and check out all of the great stuff they have there! They have great deals every week on New Release DVD's and that is where we always go when they come out. You can't get a better deal! So... in honor of my love for Target... I am giving away a $15 Gift Certificate!

And... another of my favorites that I know I have mentioned here before are the Twilight books! They are such good books. They are wholesome, and one of the sweetest love stories of all time! Now... if you have heard of these books, and heard the word "vampires" and thought to yourself, no way... I definitely would not like those books! I am not into Vampires. Trust me... the book is not about "Vampires"... the books are so much more than that. They are a true love story. The other thing I LOVE about these books is the fact that there is NO bad language(not even one cuss word), and the morals. I know what you are thinking... a moral Vampire, but trust me, in a day where premarital sex is just a given, you will appreciate this story. Trust me... I can't go any more into it, but trust me... you will love this book and will not be able to wait for the second one! So... if you haven't already guessed it... I am giving away one brand spanking new copy of Twilight...(disclaimer, I can't promise this will be the cover, I may get you the one with Edward and Bella's pic on the cover!)

(PS: If you already have these books, this will be a copy you can share with a friend).

The last thing will be a sweet treat! I have a huge sweet tooth and love me some Chocolate! So... you will also receive a tantalizing bag of Dove Chocolates! (Your choice... Milk Chocolate, or Dark... of course, my favorite is Dark!)

So... I hope this will be a tempting and fun giveaway for you! Now that I think about it... my giveaway has a theme... "Temptation"!

Here are the rules to enter:

You must be a follower of this blog and you have to leave me a comment and tell me if you have read any of the Twilight books or you can say whatever is on your mind, as long as it is a positive comment(I have never had any negatives, so I am not really worried about that!).

For more entries:

Post about this giveaway on your blog(that is one extra entry) and if you do, be sure to tell your friends to mention your name(that is another entry!).

So... all entries must be in by Wednesday, March 4th at 8 pm EST. So... good luck and thank you for playing a long for 200 posts!!! :)

Sounds like you have been busy! And that is too funny about her changing the DVD's. One smart girl!

Wow. I'm praying Emma doesn't catch on to that. What a monkey!
I've never read the Twilight series, so it would be interesting to read! But I LOVE chocolate and Target!

I'd love to be entered in your contest if it isn't too late! :)

My youngest is 18 months old too and she is a whirlwind. Hasn't figured a way out of the crib yet, and I'm thankful for that! With such a little Houdini you must be always on your toes!

My sons were horrible about climbing out of their cribs..it drove me nuts with worry every time I went to bed. Why can't they sell something like those hard plastic bubbles they have over cribs at the hospitals?

I'm on book 4 of the Twilight series. I totally missed out on the whole Harry Potter mania and I swore this time I was not going to be the only person in the continental United States that didn't know about "Twilight". Bella and Edward are on their way to the airport now after the wedding. I actually put the book down because I know I'm going to finish it this weekend and then that's it..no more Twilight :(

Finally got a chance to catch up on more of your blog........I'd love to enter!!!.....
I've been hearing ever so much about the Twilight series, though I've not read a word of it. It's definitely peaking my curiosity more and more, so I'd love to win a copy of the book!

Good luck with the crib......That must be frustrating. We don't have that problem, as my son's little bed is in the corner and next to our bed.........So, his only way out is over us! However, had he been sleeping in a crib, I'm sure it wouldn't have taken him long to start climbing out!

Each generation of kids gets smarter than the next... and each generation of teenagers seems to get less appreciative (overall, but not all) of what they have and how much their parents struggle to give it to them. I tell everyone to simply hold on tight for the wild ride and wait until their children start to mature... then you USUALLY find out it was all worth it in the end. LOL
