OK, so day 2…

And so some days… I might give you 2 pics. My blog… my rulz!

1/365 (Alternately titled: 3rd times a charm, right?)

This was a family gathering at my husband’s parents house on New Year’s day. Doug’s cousin Michelle was trying to win over our wiggler! The funny thing is, as much torture as our kids have put her through, she keeps coming back! LOL! When Grace was a baby, on her 1st Thanksgiving actually, Grace spit up down Michelle dress, making her smell like baby puke the rest of the day. 2 Years later… Jack had a major EXPLOSION on Michelle! Let’s just say, our kids love her!

So… this is my first picture in my 365. See… no rules, no stress. Just a picture, but still one, that means something to me.

A little late… yes, I know and I am cheating a little bit because I am pre-dating this to go back to January 1st. Anway… Hope you all had an amazing Christmas! I had the best Christmas that I have had in years!!! Seriously! I will blog more about that later, because I have a story to share that I believe is important one, but this of course is just a bit of a tease for that. In the meantime… here is a sneak peek at what made my Christmas special this year.

PS: I am also going to give another go at the 365 pictures. I know I have sucked the last two years… but I am not going to put so much pressure on myself. I will post what I have.

What a sweet 13 month old…

I know I have been a bad blogger… but will you please forgive me if I show you some pictures of the sweetest, silliest and most adorable(ok… yes, I am a bit bias) little 13 month old that I know?

Yes… I know it this picture is just wrong in so many ways, but if this is wrong… I don’t wanna be right! LOL!

Wedding…

I did a wedding this past weekend and honestly, I do not believe that I have ever met two people more sickeningly in love.

They are a very sweet couple from my husband’s church and I was very blessed to have gotten a chance to meet them and photograph their wedding.

Here are some of my very favorites…

I have discovered Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and I am in love! It is the best editing program, for the ease of use. Regular Photoshop scares me to death, so this program is right up my alley! I love it!!!

Black and White Wednesday-vacation snippet

I am planning(planning being the key word) to post some pictures from out recent vacation to Daytona, but in the meantime, here are two of my favorites from the beach. Enjoy and go play along and show some love at The Long Road to China…and back.

***Little note about this photo… it was not staged, or planned. I didn’t even realize that they were sitting in the EXACT same pose, until hours later!!! I love this photo and will be enlarging it for my wall at home!

Grace was a little more timid than her brother about the water, but by the end of the week, she was much more brave.

Happy 1st Birthday, Jackson!

One year ago(yesterday), this beautiful baby boy came into our lives…

 

and now,

he is 1 year old!

Where has this year gone?

To my son:

Jack,

You are a true JOY! You smile all the time(even when you are sick… which you happen to have a cold on your first Birthday!).

You are not walking yet, but you are very close. I am pretty sure that instead of just walking, you will be running before I know it.

You love your big sissy Grace! You love to grab her pretty blonde hair and any time that she is within arm's length of your playpen, you show her that love.

You laugh and smile all the time! Even while teething… we never know when a new tooth comes in because your mood never changes! You are just so precious to us!

We thank God for you every day! Happy Birthday sweet boy!
