Black & White Wednesday!

I am going to try to make this a regular thing… participating in Black and White Wednesday, which is hosted every week by one of my favorite blogs The Long Road to China {and back}.

So, I have decided to share some very special pictures that I took on Christmas Eve of my husband’s Uncle’s family.

They are all very special to me, and I was so honored to be asked to photograph their family pictures. I was praying earlier in the week for me to have a chance to spend some time with all of them together, but just didn’t think that it would actually happen. Thankfully, God made a way!

Their family is only all together once every 2 years, at Christmas.

You see…

Marc and Lisa live and L.A. and usually only get to come home for Christmas and occasionally during the summer, but not very often. Marc is a very talented musician and Lisa has the most beautiful operatic voice ever!

Next…

This is Michelle and Matthew. They live in Missouri and are getting ready to move Texas sometime this summer to begin a Baptist church with some of their friends that they attended bible college with. Michelle is such a sweetheart and has such a loving heart. She, along with her sister Tiffany, sang in our wedding. She is also a very accomplished musician and has a beautiful voice.

And here is Tiffany and her sweet family. Justin is the Youth minister at their church and Tiffany runs a daycare/preschool out of their home. And of course, their cute little ones, Hayden and their newest addition, Ashtyn.

Finally, we have the youngest of the family…

Daniel and Kara… aren’t they just adorable?! Very sweet couple, even though Daniel hates for me to take his picture… he is a good sport though! :)

I had such a wonderful time with all of them… they were all pretty much up for anything and they were throwing ideas out(as you can see in the kitchen shots!), so it made it such a joy to hang out with them. In between photos, we were able to talk and catch up, which I was so thankful for.         

I love all of the photo’s that we took that day, but the last 4 are my ABSOLUTE favorite! The first, in front of the little stone house, is just AWESOME! I am not a professional photographer by any means… but this one is my favorite picture!!! It could have something to do with the fact that the four couples in it are just precious to me, but I can’t put into words how much I love it. Ok.. nuff of that! :)

And of course… this last one captures the fun of the day, by far! LOVE IT!!! LOVE THEM!!!
