Hard at work… or so I thought!

Last weekend, Doug tells me that he and Grace are going to put up the new umbrella that my mom got us back at Christmas. So, I decided to of course, not  help, but grab my camera to see how that would go.

It started out pretty good… getting the hose to fill the base with.

Of course… Grace is the big helper.

Wait Grace… don’t point that at Daddy!

 

Ok… let’s put the mesh in the base area.

No, this is not how I dress my 2 year old on a hot summer day… this is how my 2 year old dresses herself on a hot summer day! :)

and… can’t forget the band-aid, which is more of an accessory than to cover a boo-boo! LOL! 

Yes… he is standing up in his bed… on his own. He pulls himself up now… when his leg does not go through the rail! LOL!

This was a great day! We had so much fun at King’s Island!!! This was Grace’s first trip of the year and let me tell you, this girl was so happy! She was on her best behavior and so good! Jack was even a trooper… it was very hot so I was very worried, but he did great! Can’t wait to go again very soon! :)

This was hilarious…. Grace didn’t know how to drive the bumper car, so hers kept going in circles. She was so happy though! LOL!

Oh, this little man is so sweet!!!

More fun with Editing...

Ok, so now that I have figured out how to do this really fun editing trick.... I am going to use it til it is so old and am sick of it. But, until that time... here are some more edits that I have come up with! :) My favorite is definitely the one with Grace and me... that background was a complete accident! LOL! Enjoy!

Ok, so I was browsing this website of a photographer... which I often do, and I decided to try to copy what they did. The first couple of times... I didn't really get it. However, finally after brainstorming and finally figuring out my program... I did it! Now... I am slightly addicted to doing this to the program. Let me know what you think! :)
