Not me! Monday...

Well, as usual, here are some things, that I most certainly have not done this week... and of course, again as usual, if I had... why would I admit it here!~

So, I definitely did not re-join Weight Watcher's this past week, do really good for 3 days, and then... as soon as my mom had her surgery and got out of the hospital, did not go to her house to stay with her on Friday and... make a batch of cookies... then on Saturday... while my niece Abby was there, I definitely did not make another batch because the crew of people that came to visit my mom that evening at almost the entire batch. Nope... not me! And... or course... while making said cookies... of course I would not eat quite a bit of the cookie dough! Nope... not me!

While I am mentioning the HUGE crowd of people that we had at my mom's house on Friday night to visit the shoulder replacement patient, I surely didn't let my husband bring my precious little girl over to a house full of her cousins and one friend, knowing that she had a fever the night before, not knowing for sure if she was sick or not, only to find out that she indeed did have scarlet fever(strep throat)! I definitely would not do that!!! Nope... not me!

Next, I definitely did not... do you hear me... did not take a picture of my mom with her weird slingy thing... even though she begged me not to...

Nope... not me! (at least I didn't do this...)

I also... while I am talking about pictures... did not beg my husband to stop on the middle of a bridge on our way to my mom's house, just so I could get this picture...

Nope, again... not me! :)

And... finally... I certainly did not go to bed, let my husband fall fast asleep, then sneak out of the bed just so that I could write this "Not ME! Monday..." post... Nope! Not me! Ok... that was me!

Not me! Monday...

Well... another week has come and gone, and the following are things that I most certainly have not done, and even if I did... why would I admit to it here in my blog! Be SERIOUS!!!

First of all... I am so particular about not letting my dog up on the furniture, that when I turned around and saw this pretty little girl sitting in my chair, instead of telling her to get down, I most certainly did not grab my camera and take several really cute pictures like these:

Nope! Not me!

Also, while I am at it, I definitely am not the kind of niece that would go to the hospital and take pictures of my Great Aunt Imogene right before she had surgery, just because she has blackmail-worthy pictures of me, which she keeps in her bible and sometimes pulls out during our church service, just to be able to get a giggle out of me. And then... I surely would not put them in this blog! Nope... I definitely would not do this...:

Not me!

Once again... I most certainly do no lose complete control, and think that my daughter is soooo cute and makes the cutest Abby Cadabby, and while at a children's costume party at my husbands church would not forget about everything else that is going on, and stand and take way too many pictures of my daughter. I mean come on... who would do this?

And of course... I would not then proceed to put the cute little headband that came with my daughter's Abby Cadabby costume on my mom, dad and husband's head, and then take pictures of them for the pure enjoyment of it...

Nope... not me!

And finally... I would not get up in the middle of the night to finish this, in hopes that while I was up writing this, maybe, just maybe, MckMama would post her "Not me! Monday" at midnight her time, and then I could sneak my "not me's!" in at the top of the list! LOL! Nope... not me... (by the way... I also did not get caught by my sleepy husband at 4:15 am, writing this post, and get told to come back to bed! Nope... not me!)

***Just a brief disclaimer*** I apologize for the tone of this blog... you may have less respect for me after this blog, mainly because it sounds like the writings of a 13 year old girl, but I promise... this doesn't happen that often. I am back to my self respecting, going to bed on time, hanging out with my hubby girl that I was before I didn't do any of this stuff! Thank you... please continue:

So, Monday is here again? Where did this past week go? I am not too sure... but here are a few things that I am definitely sure of...

So, my sister in law Cynthia just turned 40 yesterday, and I most certainly did not forget to send her a birthday card, call her up, or even send an e-card to mark this monumental occasion. What kind of sister in law would do something so wrong as to forget something like that? Definitely not me! (Not that she reads this... but seriously, the card is in the mail.... er, e-mail that is! :)

I have not become such a fan of the movie musical "Mama Mia!" that I downloaded the movie sountrack onto my ipod and then make my husband listen to it on the way to and from my mom's house for Sunday dinner. Nope... not me! I also do not put the lyrics on the tv every time that I watch it, just so that I can sing along... with every word! Nope... not me!

Next, I definitely was not soooooo excited on Friday afternoon when I received a call from my Aunt Cathy, who was calling to tell me that she had 3 extra tickets to Saturday nights Dancing with the Stars at our local concert arena, that I actually squealed, then almost pee my pants with excited. Seriously... I mean, what self respecting, wife and mother, would do that? Now... I know that was not me!

Then... after I did not do that, seriously, I did not call my best friend 3 or 4 times in a row, hoping that maybe she was just in the bathroom and couldn't hear the phone(NO, that has never happened before...) and then finally call her sweet little pappaw(who is slightly hard of hearing), hoping she was there, and after about a 3 minute conversation of trying to explain who I was, and that I was trying to see if Terah were there, and having to repeat that several times, finally getting Terah's mom's cell phone number, and then when I called that number... got a voicemail! At that point... I definitely did not leave a spastic message telling her to call me right away because I had tickets! To what... I wouldn't say, but I seriously didn't do any of that! Nope... not me!!!!!

I also... did not start crying on my mom, while I was telling her about the tickets that we had, for no reason at all... nope, not me. :)

Ok.... enough about that. LOL!

Oh wait... I have one more..... OK, so while at the show on Saturday night, I most certainly did not scream like a 13 year old girl when Derek Hough started to come up into the stands where we were, and was heading our way! LOL! Ok... so maybe I did do that... but come on... once a teeny bopper... always a teeny bopper! LOL!

I also did not laugh so much and so hard at so many different things, that I seriously can't remember when I last had so much fun! Nope... not me!

After the show, I did not playfully suggest that I was soooo hungry after the show, that we all should stop at IHOP for a late night round of all you could eat pancakes, instead of going right back home, keeping myself out til nearly 2:15 in the morning. Nope... not me! (of course... I could have been home by 1 if I hadn't say in Terah's driveway talking for over an hour, but where would the fun of that been?)

Ok.... so just now, while I was writing this post, my husband did not just come up behind me and scare me to death when he kissed me on the cheek. I was not scared because of his brand spanking new goatee, which I have not encouraged him to keep, just because I think it actually makes him look older and more mature with it. Nope... who would care about that. I mean... just because he is 2 1/2 years younger than I am, why would I care about that... nope, not me! Wink, wink! ;0)

Well.... I think that is it, for now, but if I can think of more... I will update in the morning. :)

"Not Me!' Monday

So, I haven't really participated in "Not Me!' Monday lately, so I thought that I would give it a try.... (and I apologize if they really are not quite as fun as usual...)

Well, this past week, I didn't not eat everything in sight, hoping that filling my stomach might make me forget the events of the past week, and now feel completely guilty now that I have gotten back on the scale! Nope... not me!

I also did not have so much fun on Friday night when I was out with my family for my cousins birthday that I wanted to stay out longer, just to avoid going to bed, because nighttime is my least favorite time of the day... nope, not me!

Ok, here is a brighter one.... I most certainly did not take my 7, almost 8 year old, nephew's Nintendo DS and play it all day yesterday at my mom's house because I am completely addicted to that pet game! Seriously... not me!

I most definitely have not vowed to start back on my diet today, and plan on going

back to weight watcher's, all the while, not wanting to go into my kitchen and finish eating my Reese's Pieces that are calling my name! Nope... not me!

Also, I most definitely am not such a pushover, that I am still giving my 17 month old daughter a bottle, even though I know that she doesn't need it, and should not be having it! Seriously... what kind of mother do you think I am??? Nope... not me!

And... I also do not think it is sooooo cute when my little girl comes up to me, while I am putting on lip gloss, and stands there puckering her lips, waiting for me to put it on her too! Seriously... not me!~

Oh... and on Saturday, while at a baby shower, I most certainly did not teach my daughter how to play with the water fountain, just to keep her happy when she was starting to get cranky. And... she most definitely did not love it! Nope... not me!

Ok... so I did not sit, most of the morning, just renewing MckMama's blog, just so I could be one of the early entries in the "Not Me!" Monday ritual that we all have come to love and adore. Nope... not me!

I also most certainly did not put the movie Sleeping Beauty in, just to apppease my daughter while I was not doing the aforementioned renewing! Nope... not me!

Oh, and I am most certainly, 100% definitely not going to add this shameless plug to my blog, just because I want to have more than 3 followers(whom... you know who you 3 are, and I love you very much!)... but, if you want to follow me, you can see the link on the side of my page, and become a follower! Or not... it really is not that big of a deal! :) Not! So... even though National De-lurking week is over... you can still become a follower... or, like I said, not become a follower... it is up to you. No pressure! :)

Well, if I can think of some more, I will post them later! or Not!

Not Me! Monday...

This is probably one of my favorite times of the week... and it is here again! So let's get started!

Ok... I most certainly have not eaten my share of my special "spritz cookie" cookie dough that I made specially for Christmas, just because I wanted to! Seriously... I most certainly did not do that!

I also, while I am at it, have not eaten my share of my mom's very special kiss cookies... just because I am pregnant and it doesn't really matter anyway!

Next... I didn't actually try to talk my husband into keeping the two extra dog's that we adopted over the summer, even though I know that we can not handle 3 dogs right now. Nope... not me!

I did not spill the beans about or new little bun in the oven at church without my husband there. Nope... I would never do that!

Of course... instead of comforting my daughter after she had been disciplined by her daddy, I definitely did not take her picture while she was crying because she was so stinking cute when having a severe fit. Nope... not me!

Just this once... I defintitely did not add my name to MckMama's Mr. Linky before this blog was finished just so I could get in under the top 20 list... I would never do that!!! Nope... not me!

Not Me! Monday...

So, again, it is that time of the week where we share our sordid stories of Not Me! woes.... so, as usual, here it goes:



So, to start things off.... this week, I most certainly am not keeping a HUGE secret. Nope... I absolutely do not have a GIANT secret that is eating me up inside, but most certainly can not tell yet. I would not do that! And... to top it all off, if I was keeping a secret, I wouldn't post about it in my blog, taunting you, telling you there there most certainly is not a secret being kept! So... for now, nope... not me!



I also, have not burst out crying several times this week for no good reason(especially not today while I was out shopping with my mom, and I definitely did not just bawl in the middle of the home goods, just because I am nervous that I am almost out of money for Christmas shopping).... seriously... not me!



Here is a twilight one for ya... I most certainly did not, while kissing my husband, bite him teasingly, and get asked, "What are those books doing to you?" Seriously... who would do that! Not me!!! LOL! (Sorry... that just made me laugh, not remembering that!)



So... for now, that is the best that I can do. I am sure that I could come up with some others, but I am most certainly not tired at all! Hope you all have a great week!

"Not me!" Monday

So, it is that time again... can you believe that another week has gone by? I can't! Can you believe... there is only 17 days left til Christmas? Nope... where has this year gone? Day by day, week by week, month by month... time is just slipping away! So... since it is Monday, we might as well get to it. So, here is this week's list of things I definitely did not do...:

So, first of all... I most certainly did not eat all of that decadently yummy Whisky River BBQ Burger with the exception of the 1/4 of the burger that Grace ate, and did not enjoy every single bite! Seriously... I did not savor every single bite... Nope... Not me!~

And another thing I definitely did not do, I did not beg my husband to get my the new Cricut machine, and go an entire week with it, still in the box, not scrapbook at all! Seriously... I would not do that!

So... here is a gross one, that I 100%, absolutely, did not do! Okay, so... Grace and I have been suffering from a small head cold this week. And... as everyone knows, with this, usually comes along with a runny nose. Well... I most certainly did not use Grace's jammie shirt (while she was still wearing it) as a tissue for my daughters extremely runny nose, because there was not a tissue in sight. While I have already grossed you out... I might as well say, that I also did not wipe my very own nose on my very own jammies, because of the same exact reason.

So, let's move on! I most certainly did not use the excuse that it was my birthday(even though, we know that I did not have a birthday) to not clean my house, the entire time that Doug was gone hunting! Seriously... I did not do that!

And yet... another thing that I did not do... while my wonderful husband was gone hunting with my dad and brother, I did not overly enjoy my time alone this week, and definitely did not sprawl out across the entire queen size bed... using both his pillows and mine. Nope... not me!

So, as a birthday present to myself... I definitely did not go out and by the brand new Britney Spears CD. I most certainly also did not by the Sims 2 Pets game for my computer! Seriously... who would do that... or admit it in their blog? Not me!

Again this week, I did not just sit idly by, laughing, and snapping pictures as I watched my adorably cute daughter, do this:

Again... I did not do that! Seriously... I don't know where she gets this! LOL!

I also have not had a million other not me moments, but because I didn't write them down as I thought of them, I am not writing them here in this blog.

Finally... I am definitely not prejudice when I say that this is the cutest child on the planet! OK... maybe I am just a little! :)

"Not Me!" Monday...

So... another week, another list of things that I most definitely have not done!

So.... first off, I most certainly do not have a birthday tomorrow... and most definitely... I WILL NOT BE 32! No matter what you are told... I definitely am not!

While I am at it, while tomorrow is not my birthday, I will not be going to Red Robin(definitely not my favorite restaurant), and will not be eating my very own Red Robin Whiskey River Barbeque Burger! Why would I do something so crazy... knowing good and well that this burger has 35 points! Ok... so I will probably eat half and share it with my sister in law, Jess! :) Of course... while I am there, I most definitely will not be eating more than one basket of French Fries! Again... knowing that it is totally wrong for a girl so committed to her Weight Watcher's.

So... speaking of Weight Watcher's, I have a good one. I most certainly did not eat a 1/4 cup of Dark Chocolate M&M's before going to bed last night and expect to actually lose weight. I also did not, immediately after my weigh-in, call my mom and ask her if she wanted a Hoagie from Gramma's pizza! Who would do that????

So... since this is a blog about "Gracie's Momma"... I should probably give you one with Gracie actually in it. So... I most certainly did not take pictures of my husband and precious little girl, while they were both sick with the stomach bug that ravaged our household, and the households of my entire family, the week before Thanksgiving.

While we are on the subject... I did not tell my daughter no, when she was doing something wrong, and then, when she gave me this look....

forget why I was being stern with her and definitely did not start to laugh. I most certainly do not have any hope!

Not Me! Monday....

Well, I most certainly have not gone another week without Blogging... no, Not me!

I also did not cry so hard that my head hurt last Tuesday night after the election results we read! Nope, not me! I certainly do NOT care that much! Nope, not me.

Oh yeah... and I most certainly did not go to bed last night with a HUGE mess in my kitchen after a wonderful day with my family at our early Thanksgiving dinner. And, I most certainly... did not just shrug my shoulders when Doug said... "oh, that is nice... Chocolate and caramel ground into the carpet" and still... did not go to bed without cleaning it up. Of course not!

Those are things that I definitely have not done! Sorry... not a long list, but that is all that I am not going to tell you about!

Not Me! Monday

So, this is going to be my very first "Not ME! Monday", so we will see how I do.

Here is what I definitely have not done this week...

Since getting home from vacation, I certainly have not let the massive amount of laundry that we lugged home from our trip to Wisconsin Dells just sit in the laudry room, stepping over it continuously, and avoiding it at all costs, without even considering doing it before today. No, Not ME!

I also did not stay up last night til nearly 1 in the morning watching the past episodes of Grey's Anatomy that I missed while on vacation. And, while I was not watching Grey's Anatomy, I most certainly did not pig out on a bowl of homemade caramel popcorn that I did not make my mom make last night while I was over.

While we are on the subject... I definitely did not go to my mom and dad's yesterday with a terrible backache, fall asleep in my mom's precious recliner, and then sleep almost the 4 full hours, trying to catchup on the sleep that I have not missed over the last several days.

Oh... and, while on vacation in the Dells, I did not make my husband take us to Build-a-bear, telling him that we needed to make a bear for Gracie, when in all truth, it was probably more for me than her. Nope... not me. :) Oh... and to add to that, I most certainly did not buy the movie High School Musical 2, using the excuse that it was for Gracie, because she loves movies with music, and I was sure that she would love it. Nope, definitely not me!!!

I most assuredly have not waited over 6 days since getting back to post a blog, out of mere laziness! Nope, not Me!

So... for now, that concludes my Not Me! Monday blog, because I definitely have not laid around in my jammies til nearly 1 in the afternoon , not had a shower, and well... let's just say, need to do laundry. Nope... Not me!
