It has been some time since I have participated in the photo contest at I Heart Faces, but this week is a very special week over there... it is there birthday! Happy 1st Birthday!!! 
The challenge this week is "Best Face Photo." I had to enter the face photo that I love the best that I took either in the month of December 2009 or in early January 2010. They wanted something that is fresh and new and that shows off where you are in your photography journey right now. Well, this couldn't be any newer or any fresher... it was taken Sunday evening before sunset. Grace and her daddy were outside playing and this was before they came in. This was her first time playing in the snow this year, and really her first time that she really "played". Last year... she just walked around. :)
They are having a lot of amazing judges and I can't wait to see the other entries... it is very inspiring!
